OVER THE EDGE SPORTS

HURRICANE, UTAH

On this stop in our Ride Center series, we’re dropping into the rugged red rock terrain of Southern Utah, where the riding is raw, the community is tight-knit, and the shop at the center of it all is more than just a place to grab tubes and brake pads. Welcome to Over the Edge Sports in Hurricane(OTE), a cornerstone of the Southwest MTB scene since 2007. Whether you're chasing slickrock, techy descents, or a solid cup of coffee, OTE Hurricane is the place to start and finish your ride.

Red Rock Roots

Over the Edge Hurricane first opened its doors in December 2007 as an extension of the now-legendary Fruita, Colorado location. The idea was simple: bring the energy and values that helped shape Fruita’s MTB culture into a new zone, but with a local twist. That idea stuck, and through many evolutions, the shop has remained true to its mission—serve the mountain biking community with passion, knowledge, and a healthy dose of fun.

Today, OTE Hurricane is a full-service mountain bike destination. Riders come for top-tier rentals, route recommendations, gear, repairs, and the occasional espresso shot. The crew delivers all of it with an unmatched level of stoke and attention to detail.

A Culture Built on Stoke

Everyone at OTE rides, and everyone brings something different to the table. From freeride junkies to endurance explorers, there’s someone in the shop who shares your riding style. If you’re not sure where you fall, they’ll take the time to get to know you, dial in your setup, and make sure your ride fits your goals.

It’s not just about sales or service—it’s about community. The team’s knowledge of the local trails, commitment to riders of all levels, and genuine love of the sport have made the shop a hub for Hurricane’s cycling scene for nearly two decades.
