The back zippered pocket on my shorts was not sewn in. Maybe they had an adhesive at some point but nothing I can see. Being left with a big hole in the back of my shorts after the pocket fell off while out on a hike was upsetting

I love the fit and feel of these shorts, but after a month or so of use the back pocket delaminated from the shorts leaving a big hole. Clubride was kind enough to replace the shorts for me, but within a month of receiving the replacement the new pair failed in the exact same way. Disappointed with the quality. Not acceptable for an $85 pair of shorts.
Had these for a couple months and after two or three times wearing them they started to fall apart. The back pocket basically disintegrated. This was after a golf round as well. Hardly any mountain biking on these. Probably should look other places for riding shorts. I will say past products have been good but these are exceptionally bad.
Very comfy and was impressed initially. Happy with the purchase and thought I'd have many rides with them. I ride a few times a week so this would go into my riding clothes which all gets washed delicate cycle and air dried.
The back pocket developed a large hole on the third wash. Not a snag, tear or any damage. The side pocket and back pocket are held onto the garment via some kind of adhesive. Whatever chemical used failed after the third wash. It's only been worn 3 times but because it was over a few months I'm out the cost of the shorts. Thumbs down.
Nice pair of shorts! Been using my first pair over my padded bike shorts when riding my Breezer Gravel bike. My waist is a 34 to 35 depending on how may Hazy IPA's I enjoy. Size large is a perfect fit. At a Mountain Bike skill camp in Wyoming I wore them each day of the camp. They held up to all three days of hard riding.

Very comfortable, very lightweight, and keep you fairly cool.
Only drawback, is started "pilling" after 2nd wash, which is frustrating quality for $80+ shorts. I had never put these in a dryer. We will see how long they actually last. Ride 2x per week. Six foot, 210 pounds and XL fits great.

Had to send the mediums back and exchange for large. 32" waist and the mediums were to tight. Large fits perfectly. Very nice shorts.
