Killer design of pockets…

I ride a lot. Live in Tahoe Basin. These are the best MTB shorts out there. Secret is the pockets for “everything”. Phone, keys, wallet, glasses, snack, etc. I take a lot of photos, the phone pocket is killer! Killer design all the way around. Wish they’d bring back other colors… black is nice, but add’l colors would be great!

Perfect shorts for riding and relaxing

Perfect shorts for riding and relaxing, and just enough stretch. I love the 13" seam because it pretty much covers my knees when riding.

Highly recommended

These are by far the best shorts I've ever had - and not just for cycling, but also for everyday use, while travelling the world.

awe snap!

I definitely was pleased with the look and "ride" of the shorts. I really looked forward to them working out. But, LITERALLY on the very first try-on the snap button fell off! That aspect, like, disintegrated off the shorts. They remain wearable because of belt loops. Still...we are very disappointed with that (kinda important) lapse in construction "proof-reading."

Shop Shorts for The Win

I wear these shorts working at a small bike shop in Arizona. The versatile and plentiful pockets are my go to for bike shop EDC. My keys, flashlight, chain checker, knife, Pedros measuring tape, valve core removal tool...al coexist in a non jangly/happy order of things. Light and airy when the sun bakes, and durable when the sealant/grease/chain lube takes hold. Oh yeah, and when I ride the elastic side pockets hug my $1000 iPhone like a warm embrace from my wife. Love these shorts...and they will love you right back. Thx Mike!!! JT3 - Flat Tire Bike Shop

Great Shorts

The length is good and does not ride up. The waist does feel lower than my other go to shorts (Endura and Showers Pass brands) but with a belt I added they were great.

My go to short for just about any ride

I love my other CR shorts, but these HiFi All Mountain shorts are my favorite. The fit, length, stretchiness, durability, and utility are superb. I've hit the dirt in other higher-end lightweight shorts, and those ripped like toilet paper. These HiFi All Mountain shorts can take a beating. They may not be my first choice for a mid-day ride in the SE July or August heat, but any other time, these are the ones I reach for. More colors, please.

Best MTB shorts I've owned

Amazing level of attention to details, huge number of functional pockets, comfortable. The gear is a bit expensive but worth every dollar.

Great shorts, wrong color

The cut of the shorts feels great when on and really well constructed. Awesome functionality with the side pockets. If you pull anything like a wallet or handkerchief out of your back pocket the mesh liner often pulls out inside out which can be a little awkward looking. The color of the clover green in the product photos is not the same color of the green of shorts you'll get, they are more of a grayish green/military green color. The mesh used for the side pockets works for those pockets but is used as gussets on the two front hand pockets, and don't wear well with carrying a pocket knife with clip as the clip wears on that mesh fabric pretty fast. The fit and feel of shorts with the functionality of the four side pockets makes up for the lesser elements of the shorts.

Hi - any opinions on if these shorts ride-down your butt/back? Often noted on long climbs. I had a previous pair of CR shorts, I *think* they also had velcro, but they didn't seem to stay up well. Tend to prefer a more secure waist lock/belt-type closure to keep them up. Any comments welcome, thx

Club Ride Apparel

Hi Rob,

In testing and from customer feedback we haven't seen these shorts ride down. If you're looking for a little more security with shorts I would suggest the Arcade stretch belt we offer on our site. The plastic buckle and stretch body isn't noticeable on or off the bike.

Thanks,

Daniel
