Flannel That Rides As Hard As You Do

The Daniel Flannel isn’t just any flannel—it’s designed to keep you warm on the trail and still looking good when running around town. With performance features hidden behind laid-back, classic style, this shirt is your go-to for rides in cooler weather. Ride hard, look great, and never compromise comfort or style.

Key Features:

  • Moisture-Wicking Fabric: Keeps sweat at bay so you stay dry and comfortable, even when you’re pushing hard.
  • Breathable & Warm: Perfectly balances insulation with breathability—ideal for chilly rides or layering up.
  • Built-In Stretch: Move freely, whether you’re bombing down a trail or kicking back after the ride.
  • Snap Button Closures: Quick and easy on/off, with a touch of rugged style.
  • Pearl Snap Chest Pockets: Safely stash your phone, snacks, or other essentials while you ride.
  • Reflective Accents: Stay seen when it’s getting dark, thanks to subtle reflective detailing.

Why You’ll Love It: With the Daniel Flannel, you get the best of both worlds: technical performance and mountain-inspired style. This flannel is tough enough to handle serious rides and sharp enough to wear straight to dinner afterward. It’s got all the warmth you need without ever feeling stuffy, and the fit is just right for every adventure.

Perfect For:

  • Cool-weather mountain biking
  • Layering on those early morning rides
  • Grabbing post-ride beers with the crew

Love the shirt, wish it were a bit longer

I like the shirt very much. I did find that the XL shirt is shorter in length than the Shaka flannel shirt that I purchased a few months ago in the same size. I am 6’2”. If I were taller it would be too short.

Nice shirt

Nice shirt, I love the idea, but the fit is a little off for me. It’s just a bit tight in the chest and shoulders. If I went to a large, I feel it would be too big /baggy in the lower half of the shirt.

Always Quality Apparel.

I have several Shaka Flannels and wanted to try the Daniel. I ordered two and am very satisfied with them. I take a medium (5'9", 160lbs.) and they fit just perfect. I slightly prefer the Shaka because they feel just a bit softer.

Great fit and I really like the soft colors

Great fit and I really like the soft colors. Currently wearing it at work on the ski hill, but I can't wait to wear it on cooler spring rides and camping.

Would recommend.
6'3" 215lbs, XL fits a little tighter than other brands, not a bad thing though.
Quality and details on the flannel are excellent.
Did the review because I was thinking of buying another one!

Ive been using it

the fit is good, the features are solid...its NOT a flannel...its a sythetic material that has a littel texture to it, cut and printed to look like a flannel but is NOT fuzzy or thick in the way one expects a flannel to be.

Good fit

Good fit, not too baggy. Would love it if sleeves were just a little longer. Not crazy thick flannel - don’t worry about it being too warm.
Will see how it lasts before getting another one - if it holds up and does not shrink - will get more of them. If they had a nylon lined version I would get it.

Seems like a good flannel, fit well in torso, but was short in sleeves amd length. Returned item.

Versatile Flannel

I am impressed with the versatility. It is great for cool days that fluctuate from warm/cool. The color is rich and I love the wearability into town for errands. I have long arms and the sleeves fit great. The XXL size might be a tiny bit narrow in the shoulders - but it works.

too short in the front torso panels

wish it were cut like other CR shirts. I'm not a tall guy but this shirt barely makes it below my waist on the front torso panels. Sleeves are the correct length, but the torso is way too short. Should have tried it on before I washed it, but I have a closet full of medium CR shirts that fit great - I assumed this would be the same.

I really love the pattern on this shirt

I really love the pattern on this shirt. I bought the black with yellow a white in medium for a stylish late fall/winter shirt. It's still summer in SoCal and long-sleeves just aren't appropriate yet, but it will be. Looking forward to wearing it at Thanksgiving for our annual week-long bike tour. This year is Moab!
